PLAIN SERUM TUBES
Blood is drawn and stored in plain serum tubes for biochemistry, immunology, and serology studies. In a medical examination, it is also utilized for numerous viruses and microelements. It helps with blood grouping, cross-matching, etc.

EDTA
These tubes contain an anticoagulant called pure-grade EDTA, which prevents the blood sample from clotting. The majority of hematological procedures employ EDTA, including CBC, FBE, whole blood collection, blood grouping, HPLC, HbA1C, and PCR for Dengue and Chinckengunia. It is also used to prepare EDTA plasma. These tubes are utilized for research on several hematological procedures, such as reticulocyte analysis, complete blood count (CBC), red cell folate, blood film, and determining the presence or absence of HIV RNA, among many others.
NOTE
- INVERT THE TUBE 8-10 TIMES IMMEDIATELY AFTER DRAWING THE BLOOD
- Erythrocyte, Leukocytes and Thrombocytes should complete in 24 hrs after drawing blood in the EDTA tube.

SODIUM CITRATE
To help diagnose and treat coagulopathy, blood samples are collected, transported, and stored in sodium citrate tubes for coagulation testing. Prothrombin Time (PT), Activated Partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT), Thrombin Time (TT), Fibrinogen, Fibrin Degradation Products (FDP), and D-dimer are just a few examples of the things it may be used for.

- The mixing ratio is 1 part of citrate to 9 parts of blood ( for 3.2 % tube ).
- The mixing ratio is 1 part of citrate to 4 parts of blood ( for 3.8 % tube ).

LITHIUM HEPARIN
Lithium Because of its negligible chelating effects, little interaction with water, and relatively low cation concentration, heparin is the suggested anticoagulant for chemical analysis in blood or plasma testing. The preferred anticoagulant for determining pH, blood gases, electrolytes, and ionized calcium is heparin. Testing on microelements also makes advantage of it.

GEL WITH CLOT ACTIVATOR
Gel with Lithium Heparin tubes is a separating gel that establishes a reliable barrier between the cells and the plasma. Heparinized plasma is collected using these tubes and utilized for standard chemical assays.
