You can be more vulnerable to the negative effects of the sucralfate suspension if you have certain medical problems. If your illness persists or gets worse, let your doctor or MD know.   1. Avoid taking any other medications within 2 hours before or after this medicines
  2. Do not drive or operate machinery
  3. Take this medication on an empty stomach at least 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal for best results
